2021 Wyoming Buddy Walk®

We're Back!

The 21st Annual Wyoming Buddy Walk® will take place on Saturday, September 18th in Laramie, WY at the Washington Park band shell.  Whether you have Down syndrome, know someone who does, or just want to show your support, take the first step and donate or register today! All are welcome for our day of celebration!

The purpose of the Wyoming Buddy Walk® is to:

  • Celebrate the lives of people with Down syndrome and raise awareness about Down syndrome; and

  • To raise funding to provide support for individuals with Down syndrome and their families across the State of Wyoming, including funding for WyDSA's Annual Family Conference.

Visit Wyoming Buddy Walk's® fundraising and information page for more information:

The 2021 Wyoming Buddy Walk® will begin at 9 am and we will have a variety of carnival games, carnival snacks, and live music from the 6 Million Dollar Band. 6MDB specializes in performing high energy 80s new wave dance hits exactly as the original artists with the correct sounds and musical style that made the songs unique. At 10:15 am we will have our recognition ceremony and walk. We return to the band shell where we will enjoy a lunch and a few more great 80’s tunes.  The event will conclude at 12 pm, which will provide enough time for people attending the football game to make their way to Tailgate Park to enjoy the UW festivities.

The Wyoming Buddy Walk® is excited to continue our relationship with

University of Wyoming Football!

Through the generosity of UW Athletics, we are able to provide anyone who registers for the Wyoming Buddy Walk® the opportunity to purchase a football ticket for the discounted price of $20 a ticket per registered walker.  If you are unable to attend the football game, you can still register for the Wyoming Buddy Walk® without being required to purchase the game ticket.

PRE-REGISTRATION is strongly recommended by September 1st as it guarantees a t-shirt of the correct size and a football ticket. We encourage you to take advantage of the pre-registration cost of $15 for adults (18 and up) and $5 for youth (17 and under).

REGISTRATION AFTER SEPTEMBER 1st is $20 for adults (18 and up) and $10 for youth (17 and under). Mail in registration can be accepted until September 10th, but if you miss any of these deadlines, you can always register at the park on walk day!
